Will Yograj Singh get inspired from Shane Warne and use the ‘S’ word for MS Dhoni?

They say cricket is a gentleman’s game. But who is a gentleman? The definition in the lexicon says gentleman is a man who “treats others people in a proper and polite way”. Well if we go by this definition, at least two players come to our mind who have been anything but polite with others.

Talking about spin-king Shane Warne — who has a knack of picking up controversies — we cannot help but mention his habit of making bold, controversial claims. The latest one on his former captain Steve Waugh claims that the latter was the ‘most selfish cricketer’ Warne played with. However, the gentleman that he is, Waugh let that one go past to the keeper in a dignified way. Watch: Shane Warne calls Steve Waugh the “most selfish cricketer” he played with

The other cricketer who comes to the mind is former India player and father of cricketer Yuvraj, Yograj Singh. The old man speaks like a man-possessed when it comes to limited-overs skipper MS Dhoni and blames him for anything and everything bad that happens under the sun, specially taking him to task for his son’s ouster from the team. Once again, the gentleman here is Yuvraj, who refuses to comment and diffuses the situation every time, claiming it is his father’s own opinion. But the not so ‘gentlemen’ Warne and Yograj refuse to learn their lessons.

With the recent controversy including Warne steaming up, you never know Yograj too will be tempted to speak up and use the ‘S’ word for Dhoni, as he feels it is the captain cool who was behind his son’s axing from the team and also that on many occasions, Dhoni has come out to bat ahead of Yuvraj, thus killing whatever little chances the latter has to impress the selectors. Whether or not Yograj fires a salvo at Dhoni, one thing’s for sure; ‘gentleman Dhoni too shall let that one go past to the keeper.
